Bike Trails

West Side Greenbelt Trail

The park is made up of basically two sets of trails.  All trails go up two miles end to end but you can easily circle amongst them and not get bored putting in five to ten miles.

On the east side is a biking path. Depending on the time of day, the traffic can get pretty heavy between bikers dog walkers and strollers.  This is best during the school year and school time so it’s much less crowded. It’s also a great ride to do all the way up Bethpage Bikeway to get a good 10-15 miles each way.

On the west side is the hiking trail which is much less populated and therefore really feels like you getting back to nature. There are a few offroad bikers who do this trail as well as the winding trails alongside.
